Mexican copper mine leak



A copper mine in northern Mexico, there have been about 40,000 cubic meters of sewage leaked and poured into a nearby river. This forced the Mexican authorities to limit the supply of water to urban areas. Affected cities include the capital of Sonora - Hermosillo, the city's total populati on of approximately 800,000.

Mexico, a Spanish media reports, leaked toxic substances from Mexico Group Buenavista mine, the mine is only 40km from the United States border. Toxic substances have contaminated the Sonora River, a tributary of the river -Bacanuchi contaminated. The media said that Mexico Water Authority has ordered the company to implement the overall remediation plan.

Mexico's National Water Authority said it was more of a plurality of low Sonora river monitoring, and has allowed the company to stop making any polluted water thing.

Ghana’s new law could end illegal mining


The government of Ghana is getting close to pass a new Minerals and Mining Act that seeks to fully regulate the sector could help to effectively deal with illegal mining in the country.

The revised law, GhanaWeb reports, will empower courts to confiscate equipment seized from illicit miners. Currently the state has not been able to hold on to them because existing regulations don’t support that.

At its peak, an estimated 50,000 foreign workers, mainly Chinese, were operating unlawfully in the country. This prompted the government to create a taskforce in May last year to tackle the subject, and so avoid tension-generating issues, such as the massive deportation of almost two hundred of Chinese nationals last year.

But illicit operations continue to be a major problem in the Ashanti and Eastern regions of the country. According to Ghana News Agency (GNA) indiscriminate digging of deep trenches in frantic search for gold ore has wrecked most roads in the area. This has made especially difficult for health professionals to reach those communities.

Gravity separation is the separation of two or more minerals of different specific gravity by their relative movement in response to the force of gravity and one or more other forces (such as centrifugal forces, magnetic forces), one of which is resistance to motion (drag force) by a viscous medium such as heavy media or water.
Gravity separation is one of the oldest technique in mineral processing but has seen a decline in its use since the introduction of methods like flotation, classification, magnetic separator and leaching. Gravity separation dates back to at least 3000 BC when Egyptians used the technique for separation of gold.
There are several methods that make use of the density differences of particles-
     Heavy media or dense media separation (these include, baths, drums, larcodems, dyana whirlpool separators, and dense medium cyclones)
     Shaking tables, such as the Wilfley table[4]
     Spiral separators
     Reflux Classifier
     Jig concentrators are continuous processing gravity concentration devices using a pulsating fluidized bed.
     Centrifugal bowl concentrators, such as the Knelson concentrator and Falcon Concentrator

These processes can be classified as either dense medium separation or gravity separation. The difference between the two that gravity separation does not use a dense medium to operate, only water or air. Dense medium separation can be performed with a variety of mediums. These include, organic liquids, aqueous solutions, suspensions in water and suspensions in air. Of these, most industrial processes use suspensions in water. The organic liquids are not used due to their toxicity and difficulties in handling. The aqueous solution as a dense medium is used in coal processing in the form of a belknap wash and the suspension in air is used in water-deficient areas, like china, where sand is used to separate coal from the gangue minerals. The dense medium separation is also classified as absolute gravity separation as the sinks and the floats travel in different directions. The gravity separation is also called relative gravity separation as they separate particles due to their differences in the magnitude of the particle response to a driving force.

This Gold Ore Spiral Chute is a combination of benefits of a spiral concentrator, a spiral chute, a table concentrator, and a centrifugal ore separator. It is an ideal tool for mining and mineral processing applications, especially on riversides, strands, beaches, and river ways. Our spiral chute comes with reasonable structure, simple installation, easy operation, high capacity, light weight, low noise, good rust, moisture and corrosion resistance. In addition, it is fully applicable to materials of different feeding granularity, density, and grades.

Spiral chute is suitable for fine materials of 0.3-0.02 mm granularities, such as iron ore, ilmenite, chromite, pyretic, zirconite, rutile, monazite, xenotime, tungsten ore, tin ore, tantalum ore, columbite ore as well as other nonferrous metal, rare metal and nonmetal minerals of different proportions.


The sand pulp is first send to the two inlets of the spiral chute. After added water for appropriate pulp density, the pulp swirls down and generates a centrifugal force which separates the ores and sands. The ore concentrate flows into the hopper and is collected through a pipeline. The tailings are discharged by a sand pulp. Thus, the whole mineral process is finished.

We have one of customer that from Cambodia, they want to build one plant for the granite quarry, crushing the granite for concrete construction. Their capacity required 350t/h, it’s a very big capacity. In mine area, the stone crusher is used widely. According their feeding size and final size, our engineer build a complete plant for them. Actually the plant design is easy, just crushing and screening, and to connect the whole plant, belt conveyor is necessary. So our engineers designed that plant main parts including crusher, belt conveyor, vibrating screen and hopper if necessary. As the granite rock and the big capacity, we choose the cone crusher for our client. The cone crusher can process more than 400t/h. And the output size around 20mm, the size is our customer required. The plant hopper can be feeding average to the cone crusher, after crushing, the output stone transport to the vibrating screen by the belt conveyor. And processing by the vibrating screen, they can get the size around 20mm, and if the size bigger than 20mm, use the belt conveyor systems transport to the cone crusher again, and the size if less than 20mm, also can screening out and transport to other stone pile. The plant is very good one and our customer enjoying it.

So after our engineers analysis, we will made a big capacity trommel scrubber more than 100t/h. According our client’s sticky clay raw ore, so the washing part is important. We can get better liner inside the trommel and make the trommel washing part longer than normal scrubber. So let the raw ore clean more clear to save the fine size particle gold. And after cleaning they would like to use jig separator and centrifuge gold concentrator to recover the gold. So we configurate the whole plant, and at the end of plant use shaking table to concentrate the gold again. The plant is the best design to solve their problem.

  Last week, one of our customer visited our factory, they are Singaporean. At first time, Mr.Thomas contacted me by email on Alibaba, and I keep in touch with him for a few months, finally they have the opportunity come to China. So they plan to come to our factory for a visiting.

As they schedule is tightly, so we also very hurry up to our factory. They come from Cambodia, and transfer the plane in Guangzhou city, finally arrive our Ganzhou airport. They stayed in Cambodia for a few days caused they have something meeting and work to do in Cambodia. Their company also business with different counties of south east of Asia. So they fly to Guangzhou on 23th, May, and arrive Guangzhou for a few hours, caused the bad weather in Guangzhou city, so their plane delayed for a few hours. And I pick up them in Ganzhou airport at 8:20pm, them I took them to the hotel that I prepare booked before they coming. After finish the hotel billing and have  a short rest, concern about Thomas and his colleague don’t have supper, so I took them go to have dinner. For introduce more culture knowledge about our city, I took them go to a local restaurant, it’s special in local dish, Thomas and his colleague tasted different kind of dishes of our local, and they were enjoying that’s night. And after a wonderful supper, I took them back to hotel, and the next morning we need get up early and go to the factory for a meeting and visiting.


The 24th, May, I pick up Thomas and his colleague and drive to our factory. The highway road is well, took for almost 110 minutes arrived our factory. When we are arriving in factory, it was rainy, and we had a rest in our office, and go to the factory workshop to check our equipments. They also for the alluvial gold in Indonesia, concern their bad transport situation in mine area, they will choose some Mini portable gold washing trommel screen deliver to Jakarta. In a few hours, we talked very much, and showed them our different customers’ plant design that we did before, they were very satisfied to our work and equipments. Finally after the meeting, they signed the order for 3 sets portable trommel machine and some others equipments for Alluvial gold centrifugal machine. Our cooperation is starting and we trust that our factory will cooperate with they for a long time business. After lunch, they must leave, we drive and took them go to the airport back to Guangzhou city. They will have a meeting in Shenzhen. It’s a great journey. Gold mining plant customer visit JXSC mine machinery factory

Last Friday we welcomed two customers from Austria who are opening gold mining plant in North Korea. Their gold mine is alluvial gold with medium sticky clay, gold size between 0-3mm. our engineer has designed a processing line for this plant. This plant consist mobile gold trommel, gold centrifuge concentrator, sluice box, and shaking table.

The customer visit JXSC mine machinery to check our production capacity, machine quality and do the running test of the equipment.  We have discussed more details on the plant layout, machine installation and gold tailing recovery.


We are finalized to produce a complete mobile gold plant for this customer, we signed the contract after visit. And start production this week. This plant is expected to finished in medium of June. We will report the update news then.

The choice of diamond beneficiation plant


Diamond beneficiation with many different method, that’s depending on the specific of diamond raw condition.
The main factor affecting the benefit plant, the raw ore characteristics and properties, raw ore mudding performance in crushing and grinding operation, the content and economic value of the minerals, the plant size and concentrate purity requirements.
